Why can't I login to the site?

If you are having difficulty logging in, confirm that you are entering the email address and password you entered when registering. Please remember that passwords are case sensitive. For additional support, visit our Contact Us page.

How can I get Connect on my phone?
Connect is a web app. You can access it through your selected web browser on your cell phone.
Why do I need to enable "cookies?"

Disabling cookies will prevent our site from working properly and may cause you to re-enter information. To utilize the site, cookies should be enabled. Please modify your internet browser and anti-virus software settings to enable cookies on our site. To learn more about how UL Solutions uses cookies to collect information. Please review our Privacy Policy.

How do I opt-in/out of email communications?

Navigate to the User Settings page to update your preferences. You can also find the User Settings link in the user menu in the header.

How do I make requests for my personal data that UL retains?

Navigate to the Access My Data page for more details.

How do I change my Connect account profile, password, email?

If you have a Prospector account, navigate to the Member Profile page. If you don't have a Prospector account, then visit our Contact Us page for assistance.

Lead Groups

How do I create and manage lead groups?

Read the Lead Groups FAQs or view the video tutorial Lead Group Basics.

How do I export a lead group activity report?

Click on the "Exports" navigation link under "Lead Groups" in the main site navigation; or, within your lead group, click on the "Export" dropdown at the top of the page and select "Export group activity". Downloads are availble for 7 days.

Leads

How do I manage leads generated from my lead groups?

Read the Leads FAQ section; or, view the video tutorial for Lead Management.

How are leads scored?

Your leads are scored utilizing a variety of factors, such as: type of activity, the last time a user viewed your products, "likes" or "dislikes" that you've clicked.

What does the "New" label mean for a lead?

"New" means that this is the first time a lead has appeared in your list within the past 12 months.

How do I save and view a lead to my favorites?

Click the star icon next to the lead name to save to your Favorites list. Just mark the star icon for the lead you view most to have them show up on the favorites page.

What does the like and dislike icon do next to my listed leads?

When you click the "Thumbs Up" like button for a particular lead, that lead, as well as other users from the company, will receive a "like" point. As "like" points accumulate, the lead will typically move further up in your lead list.

When you click the "Thumbs Down" dislike button for a particular lead, that lead, as well as others in their company, will receive a "dislike" point. As "dislike" points accumulate, the lead will typically move further down in your lead list.

Samples

Why am I receiving sample requests in my Connect account?

Prospector users can request samples from your material or ingredient listings if your company has sample requests enabled. Sample requests can be treated as potential leads. For additional support, visit our Contact Us page.

Analytics

How do I manage and understand my Analytics?

Read through the Analytics help section and watch the video tour.

How is data captured for the Analytics page?
The data is captured from user activity on Prospector.
How much data can I pull from the filter search?
You can select any date range from the past 3 years.

Digital Media

Why don't I see my company's Digital Media dashboard?

This area is permission based for customers with media placement. If you would like to reserve media placement or to learn more about our media offerings, contact us at [email protected].

Why can't I see upcoming or unscheduled Digital Media?
